We take your privacy very seriously. AFK will only use your personal information in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and accepted the terms of this privacy policy.
AFK will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), under statute or otherwise, as a result of or in connection with the App, for any: (i) economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or (ii) loss of goodwill or reputation; or (iii) special or indirect or consequential loss.
AFK is designed to minimise data collection. We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or payment details.
Session Data: Your screen content and keystrokes are transmitted directly between your devices and are not stored or accessible by us.
Voice Input: When you use voice input, your audio is sent to a third-party transcription service to convert speech to text. We do not store your voice recordings or transcribed text. See "Third-Party Services" below for details.
Server Logs: Our servers maintain standard operational logs that may include randomly-generated device identifiers and connection timestamps. These identifiers cannot be linked to your personal identity.

We take protecting your data seriously and take steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction and damage. All connections between your devices are encrypted.
AFK stores pairing credentials and app preferences locally on your devices using secure system storage. This data may sync across your Apple devices via iCloud if you have iCloud Keychain enabled.
Unfortunately, the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, sending such information is entirely at your own risk.

AFK does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Voice Transcription: We use a third-party service to process voice input and convert it to text. Audio data is sent to this service solely for transcription purposes and is not retained after processing is complete.
On occasion we include links to third parties on this website. Where we provide a link it does not mean that we endorse or approve that site's policy towards visitor privacy. You should review their privacy policy before sending them any personal data.
Server logs are automatically deleted after a short period. Data stored locally on your devices remains until you delete the app or remove paired devices.
